SAN MATEO, Calif. — September 9, 2025 — EdgeTrace today announced certified integrations with Genetec, Milestone, and Avigilon, three of the most widely deployed video management systems in public safety and enterprise security.
The integrations let agencies layer EdgeTrace's plain-language search directly onto the camera estates they already operate. There is no second camera fleet to install, no proprietary hardware, and no footage migration. EdgeTrace indexes existing streams on-prem and makes the entire archive queryable in natural language.
"The cameras are already in the field. The footage is already being recorded," said a member of the EdgeTrace team. "What's been missing is a way to ask a question and get an answer back in seconds. These integrations meet agencies exactly where they are."
Certified connectors are available now for Genetec, Milestone, and Avigilon, alongside support for standard NVR and shared cloud sources such as Amazon S3. Indexing runs entirely on the EdgeTrace appliance inside the customer's network.
About EdgeTrace
EdgeTrace builds AI video intelligence for public safety. The platform unifies an agency's entire camera network into a single, searchable index, letting investigators and real-time crime center analysts ask questions in plain language and return ranked, timestamped results in seconds — with chain-of-custody preserved from query to courtroom. Indexing runs on-prem on an EdgeTrace appliance, with air-gapped deployments available for environments where footage can never traverse the public internet.
